I finally got a chance to watch “Neverland" the LARP Sitcom. I will simply say this. I enjoyed it.
You can tell the the creators and writers really care about and understand LARP. None of it seemed hokey as most shows about LARP want to paint it. It had enough story to keep me intrigued and I am looking forward to getting to know the characters more in episode 2.
One thing about the show I loved was the showcase of different types of players that seem to be at every game. From the “Serious Role-players” to the "Half-serious NPC’s." It sprinkled in the "The Good Guys," the “Main Characters” and the “Shady Jerks." Then topped it with the “Bad Aim-ers” and the "Burnt out Vet." Anyone who has played at any game for a while knows every one of these players.
The show also gives light to some of the more eye roll worthy parts of a LARP that we have all experienced. The gratuitous holds, the players who think they can out ability the rules, butt hurt players, being excluded, and guard duty. Their are also many subtle jokes that will make you want to watch the episode a few times over.

Personally, I can not wait to see what episode 2 has to offer up for our brave adventurer’s. Check out the pilot ON YOUTUBE, and visit the link below to for more info on the group that is truly trying to not only entertain the LARP community, but paint LARP in a fun and positive light.
